The October 2021 Patch Update is now rolling out and Microsoft has published cumulative updates KB5006670 and KB5006667 for recent versions of Windows 10.
This month’s cumulative updates include security fixes for PCs with May 2021 Update (version 21H1), October 2020 Update (version 20H2), and May 2020 Update (version 2004).
The update is now rolling out via Windows Update, WSUS, and the Microsoft Update Catalog with numerous bug fixes and performance enhancements.

Like every Patch Tuesday, you can check for and install new updates by going to Settings, clicking on Windows Update, and selecting ‘Check for Updates‘ to install the updates.

Microsoft has addressed several bugs with today’s cumuilative update for Windows 10 version 2004 or later. This update advances PCs to Build 19041.1288, 19042.1288, and 19043.1288.
This cumulative update addresses an issue that causes apps like Outlook to suddenly stop working during normal use.

Addtionally, Microsoft has finally fixed an issue that causes blurry News and interests icons when you use certain screen resolutions. The update also comes with the following fixes:
