Microsoft Store, Outlook, And Xbox Live Are Down Worldwide

Microsoft users are currently experiencing issues around the world, with users unable to access Windows Store (Microsoft Store), Xbox Live services, and Outlook.

When attempting to access Microsoft Store, users are seeing loading screen, which suggests that the Store is unable to connect to the Microsoft servers.

Similarly, users are also unable to send or access emails using Outlook for desktop and mobile.

This outage started within the last 30 minutes and according to DownDetector, and Microsoft services are currently experiencing an outage in the U.S, Europe, and other parts of the world.

It is not known if this is planned maintenance activity, a problem with their servers, or if the networks are under attack.

Microsoft has confirmed that they’re aware of the problem and are working on restoring access.

“Our engineers and developers are actively continuing to work to resolve the issue causing some members to have problems using this feature. Stay tuned, and thanks for your patience,” Microsoft noted.

In a separate post to the admin center, Microsoft said it has determined that additional services may be impacted by this issue, including OneDrive, SharePoint Online and Power BI.

“We’re reviewing log data to better understand the issue. Additional details can be found in the admin portal under MO226328,” the company stated.

This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
