Google Drive is having an outage, users see spinning wheel
Google Drive is suffering an outage causing users to be unable to access their stored files and are instead shown a spinning wheel.
At approximately 9:30 AM EST today, Google Drive users began experiencing problems accessing their accounts.
They would instead be shown a spinning wheel or have sporadic connectivity issues when attempting to access them.
According to Downdetector, this issue is only affecting users in the United States.

In an update posted to the GSuite Health Dashboard, Google has acknowledged the issue and is hoping to resolve it shortly
We are continuing to investigate this issue. We will provide an update by 9/15/20, 12:10 PM detailing when we expect to resolve the problem. The affected users are unable to access Google Drive.
