NVIDIA WHQL Drivers Now Officially Supports Windows 10 21H1
Today, NVIDIA released the Game Ready WHQL Driver 471.11, and it now officially supports Windows 10 21H1, the May 2021 Update, for the first time.
Previous Game Ready WHQL drivers had only supported up to Windows 10 20H2, the October 2020 Update.
With this release, NVIDIA has added new text to the 471.11 release notes stating that the driver supports “Windows 10 (Version 1803) and later, including Windows 10 May 2021 Update (Version 21H1).”
NVIDIA GeForce driver 471.11 has brought support for NVIDIA DLSS, NVIDIA Reflex, and ray tracing features to DOOM Eternal, Escape From Tarkov, LEGO Builder’s Journey, and RUST (coming in July).
NVIDIA demonstrates the Reflex Low Latency Mode Coming to Escape From Tarkov in the video below.
As with any release, there are known issues with this driver, and NVIDIA has highlighted the following issues on Windows 10:
- [Batman Arkham Knight]: The game crashes when turbulence smoke is enabled.
- [YouTube]: Video playback stutters while scrolling down the YouTube page.
- DPC latency is higher when color mode is set to 8-bit color compared to 10-bit color.
