Microsoft Edge Is Getting A New ‘Web Capture’ Annotation Feature
In Microsoft Edge preview builds, Microsoft has introduced a new tool called “Web Capture” that will allow you to capture screenshots of the webpages and create web notes.
With Web Capture feature, you can take screenshots to copy or share. You can also take full-page screenshots by scrolling to the bottom of the webpage.
To use Web Capture, Microsoft says you need to download Edge Dev or Canary build. In the Dev/Canary build, open the Settings menu and select ‘Web Capture’. This will open a selection tool to capture the content you want or you can also scroll down on the page to take a full-page screenshot.
When you drag the selection tool to the bottom of the page, the page will automatically start to scroll and you’ll be able to capture the entire page.

Once you’ve selected the area, you will see a menu with two options: copy and add notes. The first option will simply add the image to your clipboard, but with the second option, you can add notes if you have a stylus attached to the device.
You can also use the keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+Shift+S) to open Web Capture selection mode.
With the latest update, Microsoft has also added the ability to translate selected text on a page and a new management policy to Configure Speech Recognition.
