Tor Browser 10 Released to Sync With Latest Firefox ESR Version
The Tor Project has released Tor Browser 10.0 to align with the latest Firefox ESR version, Mozilla’s enterprise version of the browser.
Mozilla Firefox ESR (Extended Support Release) is an enterprise version of Firefox that is designed for stability and security in large organizations. As ESR builds focuses on an enterprise environment, they do not get updated as often to ensure stability, but receive all the latest security updates, so businesses are protected.
As the Tor Browser utilizes a customized version of Firefox ESR when a new ESR version is released, the Tor Project releases a new version.
