Microsoft Now Lets You Run Multiple Android Apps In Windows 10
Microsoft has announced today that Windows 10 customers with devices running the latest Insider build can launch and interact with multiple Android apps directly on their computers’ desktops.
Support for streaming and using Android apps on Windows 10 from supported Samsung devices was announced by Microsoft in August.
Rolling out three months after being announced
Today, three months after the feature’s initial announcement, the Windows Insider team announced that it added support for running several Android apps at a time on Windows 10 PCs.

“You can experience the power and convenience of running multiple Android mobile apps side by side on your Windows 10 PC on supported Samsung devices,” Microsoft says.
“Apps will launch in separate windows enabling you to interact with multiple apps at the same time even if the Your Phone app is not open.”
The multi-apps Your Phone feature has started to roll out on November 5 to all supported Samsung Galaxy phones (Note20 5G, Note20 Ultra 5G, Z Fold2 5G, Z Flip, Z Flip 5G) with Link to Windows (LTW) integration running Android 10.
Samsung devices running Android 11 (including Galaxy S20 5G, Galaxy S20+ 5G, and S20 Ultra 5G) are also compatible if they have LTW integration and are also enrolled in the Samsung OneUI 3.0 Beta program.
Running multiple Android apps side by side is available in the latest version of the Your Phone app on any computer running Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 20257.

How to run Android apps side by side
To use multiple Android apps on their devices’ desktop, Samsung Galaxy users will first have link their device with Windows 10 using the Your Phone app.
Once done, users have to tap the ‘Link to Windows’ button on their Android device, and a list of the available apps will be displayed in the Windows 10 Your Phone app.

They can then launch Android apps side by side, each one shown in its own separate window running directly on their Windows 10 desktop outside the Your Phone app.
Even though the multi-apps feature should work with most mobile Android apps, Microsoft warns that some apps may not allow their content to be displayed on other devices’ screens.
